Exclusive private dinners. Luxury transportation and accommodations. Rare vintage wine tastings. One of a kind adventures.
A trip to Baja just isn’t complete without a traditional lobster meal the BAJA way! So, before we head into the beautiful wine country of Valle de Guadalupe, it’s a MUST to enjoy a traditional lobster lunch in Puerto Nuevo. After lunch, we head down to world-famous Rosarito Beach for some good ol’ beach sun-soaking… on ATVs!
For our first night together, we head to the world-renowned Animalon by Chef Javier Plascencia. Get ready for an absolutely amazing gastronomical experience set under a 200-year-old Oak Tree, where the cuisine prides itself on paying homage to local producers and the Baja lifestyle.
Let’s really dive into to wine country today with experiences that will surely blow you away! Deckman’s en el Mogor awaits us first to delight you with the local and sustainable experience that is #projectmogor. Chef Drew Deckman is a Michelin Star recipient, cookbook author, world-famous Chef and Host Chef of James Beard Foundation: Baja meets NYC Dinner.
Next, we are off to Bruma. Set on 200 acres amidst the wine vineyards of the beautiful Valle de Guadalupe, Bruma offers eco-luxury living throughout authentic, private ranch homes, a world-class resort, a locally-sourced restaurant and a working winery. To set foot here is to experience a sensory connection with nature, with Mexico, and with new adventures. Here we will enjoy rare vintage wine tastings and end the day with one of the world’s top restaurants… FAUNA by Chef David Castro Hussong. In a region known for its superlative dining, this restaurant is our uncontested favorite. The setting is rustic-chic, with family-style seating at reclaimed wooden tables, an open kitchen and views out to a garden of herbs and cacti.
After a relaxed morning where you can enjoy the beauty of our accommodations, we head to one of Valle’s most awaited restaurant openings ever, Lunario. This stunning restaurant, inspired by the moon’s phases, is an extension to a Valle-favorite; Traslomita lead by the Sonorense chef Sheyla Alvarado. Set within the Lomita winery grounds, the greenhouse-like restaurant is a top Valle destination.
No trip is ever complete without an authentic experience at a traditional farmers market where the locals’ shop! The C&L Experience has planned an authentic afternoon at the market just for you. Get ready to see, hear, smell and taste some of Mexico’s most traditional ingredients. Who doesn’t want fresh tortillas and just baked out-of-the-oven bolillos to take back home? After our afternoon of shopping, we return to San Diego.
