Discover India

First Stop: Delhi

Our incredible 10-day journey begins in New Delhi. This vibrant city has it all! The bustling capital of India, New Delhi brings together the old and new presenting the most unique melting-pot that fascinates travelers from all over the world. Delhi itself presents lots to see, do and experience. It is overflowing with modern life, color and the relentless rhythms of humanity like few other cities on Earth.

Some highlights include; Chandni Chowk Market, one of the largest mosques in India the Jama Masjid, and Qutub Minar followed by a rickshaw ride. Join us for an exclusive Indian cooking class and dinner with a local family at their home.

Second Stop: Agra

The magical allure of the Taj Mahal draws tourists to Agra like moths to a wondrous flame. And despite the hype, it’s every bit as magical as you’ve heard. Along with the Taj Mahal we will visit the 16th century red sandstone fortress, Agra Fort and Mahtab Bagh, the moonlight garden at sunset.

Third Stop: Jaipur

Nicknamed The Pink City for its magnificent building colors, enthralling, historical Jaipur is the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state of Rajasthan. The royal palaces in the city are one of India’s most impressive architectural treasures that will leave one of the most unforgettable images in your mind. Since the city was also built as a commercial center for India, it has some of the most amazing places to buy precious and semiprecious stones, textiles and enamel handicrafts known as meenakari. Some of the places we will visit include The City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and in the evening visit the main Bazaars for the best shopping.

Final Stop: Jaisalmer

The fort of Jaisalmer is a breathtaking sight: a massive sandcastle rising from the sandy plains like a mirage from a bygone era. No place better evokes exotic camel-train trade routes and desert mystery. Ninety-nine bastions encircle the fort’s still-inhabited twisting lanes. Inside are shops swaddled in bright embroideries and a royal palace. It’s hard not to be enchanted by this desert fortress. Beneath the ramparts, particularly to the north, the narrow streets of the old city conceal magnificent havelis (traditional, ornately decorated residences), all carved from the same golden-honey sandstone as the fort – hence Jaisalmer’s designation as the Golden City. Here we will tour the Golden Fort, then head out via jeep to the sand dunes where a private butler awaits for our champagne picnic.
